4/28/2021 - pdadams66 Likes this wine: 89 pointsAnother good bottle. Straight out of the cellar it had a nose and taste of, I kid you not, Babycham. This was a sparkling drink in the UK many years ago (I assume it still exists) based on pears (Perry). Not a classic drink, and a surprise to revisit in a red wine, but not terrible. After some air and coming to room temperature it became the usual Venegazzu. Still giving many Bordeaux's a run for their money. |
